Platform Role & Immunity

Neutral Platform: InsideScoop operates as a neutral platform for user-generated content under Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act (47 U.S.C. § 230). We act as an interactive computer service providing a forum for third-party speech.

User Opinions: Reviews, ratings, and comments on InsideScoop represent the individual opinions and experiences of their authors. They do not constitute endorsement, verification, or adoption by InsideScoop.

No Verification Obligation: InsideScoop does not verify, endorse, or adopt user-submitted content. While we may moderate content for compliance with our guidelines, such moderation does not constitute editorial control or adoption of any user content.

§3

User Content

Ownership

You retain ownership of content you submit. By posting, you grant InsideScoop a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content on our platform.

Responsibility

You are solely responsible for content you submit. Content should reflect your honest opinions and experiences. Do not post content that is false, defamatory, or violates others' rights.

Moderation

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms or our community guidelines, without notice. Repeated violations may result in account suspension.

§3.5

Subscription & Billing

Plans & Pricing

InsideScoop offers a free tier that is always available at no cost. Our Pro subscription is available at $9/month or $59/year, providing access to enhanced features. Pricing is subject to change with reasonable advance notice.

Auto-Renewal

Pro subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. We will notify you before any renewal charge is processed. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings via the Stripe billing portal.

Refund Policy

If you cancel your Pro subscription, you are entitled to a pro-rata refund for the unused portion of your current billing period. First-time subscribers enjoy a 7-day cooling off period from the date of initial subscription, during which you may request a full refund — no questions asked.

Free Tier

The InsideScoop free tier will always remain available. You are never required to subscribe to access the core functionality of the platform.

§4

Disclaimers

Content: InsideScoop is a platform for user-generated content. Reviews represent individual opinions and experiences, not verified facts. We do not endorse or guarantee the accuracy of any user content.

Service: InsideScoop is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation.

Decisions: Information on InsideScoop should not be your sole basis for career decisions. Consider multiple sources of information.

§5

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, InsideScoop LLC and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the service.

§6

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless InsideScoop LLC and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these terms.

§7

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these terms or is harmful to other users, the service, or third parties. You may also delete your account at any time.

§8

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, without regard to conflict of law principles. InsideScoop LLC is a Kentucky limited liability company. Any court proceedings arising under or related to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

§9

Dispute Resolution & Arbitration

Commitment to Fairness

InsideScoop is built for workers. Our dispute resolution process reflects that commitment — it is designed to be efficient, fair, and accessible, not to limit your rights.

Step 1: Informal Resolution

Before initiating any formal proceeding, we ask that you contact us at [email protected] to describe your concern. We will work in good faith to resolve the matter within 30 days. Most disputes can be resolved through open dialogue.

Step 2: Binding Arbitration

If informal resolution is unsuccessful, either party may initiate binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Arbitration will be conducted on an individual basis. Each party shall bear its own costs; however, InsideScoop will cover arbitration filing fees up to $500 for individual consumers to ensure the process remains accessible.

Small Claims Exception

Either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court for disputes involving less than $10,000, as an alternative to arbitration.

Class Action Waiver

To the extent permitted by law, disputes will be resolved on an individual basis. Both you and InsideScoop waive the right to participate in class actions, class arbitrations, or representative proceedings.

Your Right to Opt Out

You have the right to opt out of the arbitration and class action waiver provisions. To opt out, send a written notice to [email protected] within 30 days of creating your account. Your notice must include your name, account email, and a clear statement that you wish to opt out of arbitration. Opting out will not affect your ability to use InsideScoop in any way.

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
